We arrived to Ann from the historical society giving us the history of the farm and the Greenwell family, and man did she know her stuff! If you can get Ann for your tour, I highly recommend her. We learned stuff about Hawaii, immigrant workers, how they process and roast beans, and all about how this historic farm (and exceptional family) started.
Being from California we like to go wine tasting. This place was very interesting. First we got to taste about 8 kinds of coffee and then we toured the farm, saw how the beans are dried and processed. Staff all very nice and we got a great tour. Free! If you are a coffee lover stop here.

For instance, they actually started with orange trees. And they literally have 117 year old coffee bean trees STILL producing today (2017). (The trees in my pictures)
I tasted and bought lots of coffee here! And I will certainly go back given the opportunity!
A family farm. People are very friendly. We took a tour that included viewing the coffee trees, drying "houses", machinery that was used at various points of the process from tree to beans. There is a wide range of samples offered. My favorite was the private reserve. The fragrance! Came home and brewed my first cup today: fabulous!
