I had a very unfortunate circumstance while visiting the big island on vacation. Unfortunately I was charged with a DUI. I was on my way to the airport and stopped by a beer brewing facility that my friend works at for a tour before my flight. The brewery happened to be on the way and very close to the airport I was going to. After the tour which included drinking a couple beers I left for the airport. There was a DUI check point on the way and I was asked to provide a breath sample. I was very surprised to learn that according to the results I was being charged with a DUI. Never having this issue in my life, and the fact that I'm 1/2 way around the globe, you can imagine my worries of how this would affect my future.
