I loved the play, the acting and interactions of each cast member. Good casting choices, charming and authentic scenery. I felt transported! Thanks!
The building might be old but that's part of it's charm. The seats are arranged so that you are looking between the people in front of you instead of directly at the back of someone's head. Parking was easy to find even though the lots were full the street parking was open. We'll be going there again.
The aloha theater is a staple of theater on the big island the performing arts would be dead here without them!
Went here on Halloween for their version of Rocky Horror Picture Show and was not disappointed!! Most of the cast were locals and the hospitality had the usual aloha flare. Being a small local theatre, the sets aren't stunning and the actors aren't perfect. However, everyone involved is talented and passionate. This is not your average theatre. Their shows are edgy, the actors are fun, and they have Kona Brewing Co. beer! You really can't ask for more.
